Here are some things you need to know about this year's Sidewalk Days Festival!

- Businesses can start closing down at 8:00pm, and must be wrapped up by 9:00pm (6:00pm on Saturday)
- Final shows start between 8-8:30pm (4:00 & 5:00pm on Saturday) please see attached schedules under photos
- The 15 Wing Air Demo begins with the Hawks & Harvards at 5:00pm on Friday. The Snowbirds start around 5:40. Main Street Moose Jaw will be the BEST place to see all the action.
- Pancake breakfast hosted by the Masonic Lodges of Moose Jaw runs Saturday 7am-10am in the Folgizan's parking lot.
- High Impact Wrestling matches run daily starting at 11:00am
- Stage & Busking entertainment begins between 1:00 - 2:00pm (see schedules in photos)
The Moose Jaw Masonic Lodges will be holding a charity pancake breakfast on Saturday morning, July 5th from 7:00am - 10:00am in the Folgizan's parking lot. Check out the farmer's market, then grab a bite to eat and support some great causes!
Cost is $6.00 for adults, $3.00 for kids.
The Band City Open Jam is happening on the John's Music Stage on Thursday, July 3rd from 2:30pm - 6:00pm. Bring your instrument, and come jam with some local musicians! It's free, and it WILL be awesome!
The Moose Jaw Toyota's Children's Village is bigger and better this year! Interactive games, 4 bouncers, a children's stage with regular entertainment, and the Chill Tent, sponsored by Triple 4 Advertising, Old Dutch Foods and the Moose Jaw Coop. Kids can get out of the sun for a bit, catch some great local entertainment and maybe grab a freezie or a bag of chips! All free, thanks to our amazing sponsors!
We are so happy with how many people have contacted us to volunteer! It's great news! However, we are very short on people to help with the stage. As long as you are 15+ and physically capable to move some equipment - we NEED you!
We need people from 12noon - 10pm (in 2-3 hour shifts) to just help set up and tear down before and after each performer (and this won't take very long!)
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call/text 306-690-9949 if you, or someone you can boss (i.e., your teenagers!) can help out!
We are so pleased to announce that the Masonic Lodges of Moose Jaw are going to be hosting a charity pancake breakfast on Saturday morning, July 5th! What a perfect day - eat some delicious pancakes, shop the farmer's market and visit Sidewalk Days!!
We are a non profit organization whose sole mission is put on the best event we can, with a very small budget. This year, many people came up to the plate for us. From big sponsors like Moose Jaw Toyota, Water Vision Hot Tubs, C & R Signs, Moose Jaw Times Herald, The Comfort Inn and The Heritage Inn to the over 120 vendors that have paid to participate... we have seen a bunch of love from many directions!
However, the donated time and efforts from our talent makes this doable. We could NEVER put this on without steep discounts or free performances.
Case in point, Magic By Jamie just stepped up to the plate in a big way, taking on additional slots left by a cancellation.
If that's not community spirit, I don't know what is! During Sidewalk Days, get out there and show that guy some serious appreciation!!!
Just to finish off your night, we have another performer announcement! Originating in Regina, Saskatchewan, Majetik is a young rock band sure to amaze. With influences taken from hard rock, progressive, and metal, Majetik features intricate guitar and bass interplay, tight drumming, and soaring vocals.
They will be playing on the Moose Jaw Times Herald Cordova Stage Friday July 4th at 7:30, and again on Saturday to close the Festival.
They're young, they're talented, and they rock!
